Known for his lively ingenuity in tailoring, Alexander McQueen impressed the world with his collections. However, the key attributes of his work are not portrayed in his McQ line for a younger audience.

Inspiration for the line derived from Scandinavian peasant clothing due to its cut, patterning and color to compliment McQueen’s deconstructive approach both in subject and design.

This project was completed during a program at Parsons the New School for Design.
